First of all, I want to invite you to give yourself credit for showing up. Many people talk about changing and being the change they want to see, but few actually take action.
Why? Because CHANGE can be scary and uncomfortable, and our brains are wired to avoid ‘pain’ and move towards ‘pleasure’. That is why it is easier to turn to Facebook, a Netflix series, gossip about someone or something, instead of writing the proposal that has been sitting on our desks, reading about how to pay off our debts, looking for other jobs, getting exercise done.
Will it be easy? That will depend on you how much you resist change. If you are like most of us, you will kick and moan a few times and may even want to quit.

For as many years as you have been alive you have been programmed by people, culture, circumstances to believe and act a certain way. You are your ‘own computer with your own coding.’ You are in this course to identify what that coding is and to decide what to keep and what to reprogram, delete, enhance, disrupt.
This course invites you to take consistent action and go out into the world to practice your new ‘coding’ and notice what happens .
All of this will make more sense once we get started and as you begin to put it into practice and observe yourself taking action you never imagined possible.
How does it work?
PRE-WORK: You will receive a package with an assessment, information, links and reading recommendations to get you ready for the 8-week Personal Accelerator Sprint and for us to know the best content to provide you with.
PERSONAL ACCELERATOR SPRINT
Sessions: Happen LIVE every WEDNESDAY at 1:00 pm EST on ZOOM and ALL will be RECORDED for you to watch at your own pace if necessary.
Friday morning prior to weeks 1, 3, 5 & 7 you will receive relevant materials related to that week's topic. It will layout and explain the concepts that will be discussed during the live sessions on Monday as well as the homework to be completed for each topic.
New material will be shared on Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 while weeks 2, 4, 6 & 8 will be about integrating the tools you will be learning, creating new habits and working on your prototypes. During weeks 2, 4, 6 & 8 you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification on topics and issues as they arise.
We will use ZOOM( similar to Skype) for the live sessions. Each session will be recorded so that you can have access to it in case you can't make it.
You will also have access to other key platforms and applications to design your business model, track progress, keep accountable and support one-another. For example we will be using Slack and Asana.

How long does the Personal Accelerator last and what is the level of effort?
The PA has 3 phases.
First Phase (Around 45 days long): It is designed to stimulate your thinking and get you familiar with some of the material and digital tools. The level of effort in this phase will depend on you. But on average, people spend 1- 2 hours a week.
Second Phase (8 weeks): Sprint Phase. This is where you will design your year moving forward. It is packed with action and some new material. The level of effort for this phase will also depend on you and how serious you are about designing your life. Are you designing the equivalent of a luxury boutique hotel? A Ferrari? Or a motel? A tuk-tuk taxi? On average people spend 2-4 hours a week. So plan for having the time to do this. See if you need to hire a babysitter to take care of kids, enroll help from your partner, maybe wake up 30 minutes before your usual time? It will all depend on how much you think you are worth.
Third Phase (~9 months): Consistency Phase. This phase is about implementation: learning/unlearning/adjusting. It will last for 3 Quarters (9 months on average). Every 3 months we will have a 90-minute meet up to review your goals, business models (whether professional or personal), what is working, what isn't working. And recommit to what you want to accomplish.
So in total, you will be engaged in making a difference in your life for a full year, from September 15th 2019 - to September 20th, 2020.

What if I can't attend one of the sessions?
All of the sessions will be recorded so that you can watch them at your own pace- AND the recording will not last forever. It will be up for one month after it was posted. Otherwise, some people procrastinate and never prioritize watching them.

Money back is guaranteed only for people that do ALL the work and still don’t like the experience. The Personal Accelerator has been designed with behavioral science exercises and methodologies and we know that some people will find some parts of it challenging. After all it is about change, and the brain resists change. However, we also know that once people break through their resistance, they feel proud and grateful that they stuck with it.

¿Cuánto tiempo dura la Aceleradora Personal y cuál es el nivel de esfuerzo/tiempo en cada fase?
La AP tiene 3 fases.
Primera Fase (Dura alrededor de 45 días): Familiarización. Está diseñada para estimular su pensamiento y familiarizarse con algunos de los materiales y herramientas digitales. El nivel de esfuerzo en esta fase dependerá de usted. Pero en promedio, las personas invierten de 1 a 2 horas por semana.
Segunda Fase (8 semanas). Fase Sprint. Esta fase es de 8 semanas de duración. Aquí es donde diseñarás tu año avanzando. Está lleno de acción y material nuevo. El nivel de esfuerzo para esta fase también dependerá de usted y de la seriedad que tenga con respecto al diseño de su vida. ¿Estás diseñando el equivalente de un hotel boutique de lujo? ¿Qué pasa si no puedo asistir a una de las sesiones?
Todas las sesiones se grabarán para que puedas verlas a tu propio ritmo. Sin embargo, la grabación no durará para siempre. Estará disponible durante un mes después de su publicación. De lo contrario, algunas personas postergan hacer las tareas y nunca le dan prioridad hacer las tareas.
